Armstrong is a 100% dedicated foilsports brand from New Zealand. The team now consists of a large group of people, including several top designers, but it originally started as a duo; Armie Armstrong and Rob Whittal. Both are passionate water sports enthusiasts. In 2015, foiling was mainly focused on kite racing. The multidisciplinary sport as we know it today did not exist back then. At that time, Armie saw a lot of potential in foiling, but at the same time, the available materials were not strong enough and often broke. Realizing how much time was lost in the workshop, Rob and Armie decided to develop their own equipment. Thus, they went all-in with Armstrong Foils.
